This Privacy Policy explains how Land Calculator AI (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information when you use the Land Calculator AI mobile application (the “App”) and our website (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
In short: the App does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not collect personal information. All calculations run on your device.
1. Information We Collect
Calculations: The land unit and price calculations run entirely on your device (or in your browser on the website). The values you enter - land sizes, plot dimensions, prices, units and district selections - are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Approximate region: To automatically load the calculator for your area, the Services may detect your approximate location from your device's IP address and return a matching state or country. This is an approximate, region-level lookup only. We do not access GPS or precise location, and we do not store your location.
The App does not collect your name, contacts, photos, files, precise location, advertising identifiers, or any account or payment information.
2. Permissions Used by the App
- Internet access - used to load region data, perform the approximate-region lookup, and check for app updates on Google Play.
3. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on a small number of third-party providers:
- Google Play Services - the App uses Google Play in-app updates so you can update to the latest version. This is provided by Google and governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts and Font Awesome (website) - loaded via CDN on the website; these providers may log your IP address under their own policies.
- Sharing - when you use the App's “Share App” feature, your device's own share sheet handles it. We do not receive or store what you share or who you share it with.
The mobile App does not contain advertising and does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
4. How We Use Information
- To show the correct land calculator for your region
- To keep the Services working, accurate and secure
- To detect and prevent abuse or misuse
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to any third party.
5. Data Retention
Because the App does not collect personal data, there is nothing to retain from normal App use. The approximate-region lookup is processed only to return your region and is not stored.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect information handled by the Services. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
