Land Measurement Units Around the World
Almost every country measures land its own way. The metric standard — the hectare (10,000 sq m) and the square meter — is the official system in most places, yet traditional and customary units are still in everyday use across Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas. Property buyers, overseas investors, agricultural researchers, lawyers and finance professionals constantly have to move between local units and international standards when they work across borders. Land Calculator AI covers the world with dedicated converters, each one set to the units a given country actually uses.
